Aspiration Statement: Developing, instructing and preparing congregants for
their faith walk, through easily accessible classes and readings for all age
groups, undergirded with Biblical precepts from an African American, and
Baptist perspective.
Edible Landscapes and Orchard –
orchard@friendshipcharlotte.org Aspiration Statement: The Friendship
Edible Landscape and Orchard partnership include the Mecklenburg Health
Department, NC State Extension, and Friendship Missionary Baptist Church.
Our goal is to address food insecurities in the west corridor. We produce plums,
figs, apples, pears, blueberries, and seasonal vegetables such as okra, collards,
squash, tomatoes, carrots, etc. Volunteers from the church and community
maintain the garden. Coordinators: Cynthia Dumizo and Lena White

Aspiration Statement: To work closely with Vacation Bible School, Church
Revival, and Homecoming activities and hosts the monthly Prayer Breakfast, as
we seek to share the Good News of Jesus Christ in a variety of ways.
