Today’s Scriptures:
Daniel 9.1-27, Daniel’s prayer for restoration of the people, its been 70 years.
vs. 3-8, a confession of their sins
vs. 15-23, esp. 18, acknowledgment by the people, “not our righteousness but your mercies.”

Exodus 6.1-9, a promise of deliverance, the people wouldn’t listen
I Kings 8.46-52, transgression by the covenant people.
Nehemiah 1.1-11, The burden of Nehemiah, the people’s attitude.

St. Matthew 24.1-8, deception and deceivers.
Thought: Ancient vices, ills, and wrongs are fresh, active, and alive in 2026.

Daniel 10.1-21, revelations by the angel to Daniel
vs. 7-10, Daniel was emotionally weakened by the vision.
vs. 11-14, latter-day occurrences were revealed to Daniel.
vs. 15-21, Daniel was told not to be fearful, he was safe…
Acts 10.1-8, A vision that called for action.

Thought: Exposed to the Holy. To have the privilege of being in the presence of angels is indeed a humbling
experience.

Daniel 11.1-45, this chapter is a continuation of the prophetic history of Chapter 10. In chapter 11.1-31,
historical prophecy has a direct impact upon the covenant people.
vs. 32-35, - the people who are loyal to God shall stand firm and take action.
