Personality, Rahab/Rachab, Canaanite from Jericho.
Today’s Scriptures:
Joshua 2.1-24, The story of Rahab and the Jewish spies.
vs. 2.14, Rahab hides the spies and gets a promise from them to deliver her family from destruction.
vs. 9-10, acknowledgement by Rahab of the Lord and the Red Sea.
Joshua 6.22-25, Rahab and family delivered.

I Chron. 2.11, Dalma/Solomon/Salmah, the father of Boza by Rahab
Ruth 4.20-21, Salma/Salmon
St. Matt. 1.4-5, Salmon/Salma/Salmah, an ancestor of David, and according to historian Matthew, he is the
father of Boaz by Rahab.
Thought: Oft’ times, efforts and sacrifice far exceed one’s name recognition.

ch. 4.1-22, Boaz marries Ruth, and they have a son, whom they name Obed, who was the father of
Jesse, the father of David.
NOTE: 4.20 Salmon was the husband of Rahab, whose son was Boaz.
